Guest Post: Love the Land

This is a "guest post" since it is a pin off my husband's lanyard. I got this pin for him since my lanyard was filling up quickly and his looked rather barren.

I like the environmental message of the pin and I love the detail of the Disneyland font in the text.

Fantasyland

I was wanting an Aurora/Sleeping Beauty pin and really liked that this one not only features Aurora but also other Fantasyland attractions such as Dumbo the Flying Elephant and the Mad Hatter's Tea Party. Fantasyland is also home to some of my other favorite attractions at Disneyland and Disney World, like Peter Pan's Flight and Mickey's Philharmagic.

Apples to Apples: Disney Edition

Okay, so it's not a pin, but I think Disney lovers should know about this game. I love the original Apples to Apples game and was so excited to see a Disney version at Macy's at Christmas time. I went back to Macy's after Christmas and got it for 30% off.

The game cards feature Disney rides, characters, and attractions. The game also includes a neat card holder for the green cards.

Star Wars!!!

It was an exciting time for Star Wars fans at Disneyland while we were on our honeymoon. The revamped Star Tours was about to open to the public, Annual Passholders were visiting for their sneak peek of the ride, promotional videos were being filmed, and we even got to ride twice during a soft opening. One night, we stood right in front of Darth Vader as he watched fireworks in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle. I had a hard time deciding whether to watch the fireworks or the filming behind us!

World of Color

Since World of Color is one of my favorite things from Disneyland (or in the whole world), I had to get a pin to show off my love for the show. I found this one in one of the DCA shops while we were there. It got a lot of attention around the parks and I directed many people toward this pin.

Sadly, part of the "D" and some of the other letters across the bottom started wearing off after rubbing on one of my other pins. I am being more careful now so that this doesn't happen again!
